What to expect
Plan on a 5% to 12% higher average bill on QR orders. We measure yours instead of promising it.
Illustration, not a promise: a café with a ₹400 average bill and 25 QR orders a day takes about ₹3,00,000 a month through QR. A 6% lift is about ₹18,000 a month, against ₹499 for the add-on.

Founding customers
Be one of our first restaurants.
We launch on 1 January 2027. Founding restaurants get direct access to the team, a say in what we build next, and priority onboarding. In return, we ask for honest feedback and, only if you are happy and say yes in writing, a real story we can share.
Any benefits listed here will be confirmed in writing at signup. No fake reviews, ever: every story on this page will be from a real restaurant, shared with permission.
Questions
Straight answers.
What happens if my internet goes down?
Billing, KOTs and printing keep working on your device. Orders are saved locally and sync automatically when you are back online. Delivery-app orders naturally need a connection to arrive.
Are the prices final? What does GST add?
All prices are per outlet and exclude GST. We add 18% GST on top and give you a proper GST invoice. Onboarding and menu import are free on every plan.
What is the Founding offer?
The first 100 direct restaurants to pre-order get 35% off their first year on an annual plan — for example Starter is ₹12,999 instead of ₹19,999. A ₹2,000 UPI token holds your price, with the balance due within 7 days. Your renewal then locks at the Standard Annual rate.
Can I get my money back?
Yes. There is a 30-day full money-back guarantee, and a go-live guarantee: if you are not live and billing within 7 days of kickoff, you are refunded.
Do I need to buy new hardware?
Hardware is optional. If you want a ready-to-run setup, we offer a bundle (printer, KOT printer, Android terminal, cash drawer) at ₹15,000 to ₹40,000 one-time, supplied through hardware partners. Tell us what you already have and we will advise before you spend anything.
How do the table stands work, and what do they cost?
Branded QR + NFC stands let diners scan or tap to open your menu and order. With an annual plan on Starter, Growth or Chain you get a free 10-stand kit (QR on Starter, QR + NFC on Growth and Chain). On monthly plans and on Micro you buy a kit: ₹1,999 for QR or ₹2,999 for QR + NFC, or ₹299 / ₹349 per extra stand. Prices exclude GST, and kits are fulfilled through our partners.
How do Swiggy and Zomato orders work?
On Starter and above, delivery-app orders appear in the same inbox as dine-in and QR orders, so your team accepts, prints and tracks everything from one place.
Can you move my existing menu across?
Yes. Menu import is free. If you would rather we set everything up for you, white-glove migration is ₹2,000 one-time, usually free during the Founding window.
What is Mr.Owl, and what does the menu assistant cost?
Mr.Owl is the assistant inside Jaggery. Owners can ask questions about their own sales, dishes and stock in plain language (insights are part of Growth). Diners also get the Mr.Owl menu assistant, which suggests add-ons at the cart. It is included in Growth and Chain, a ₹499 / month add-on on Starter, and not available on Micro.

Ways to partner & pricing
Sell ours, or sell your own.
Two simple ways to partner. Start free and earn on every restaurant, or pay once and sell Jaggery under your own brand.
Partner costs nothing. Own-Brand Partner is a flat one-time fee for your own brand, with unlimited restaurants. A fee is never added to any restaurant’s bill.
A flat ₹49,999, once. Not scaled by city or state, and no limit on restaurants. At launch: apply and pay a refundable deposit now; full per-restaurant billing switches on shortly after.
What you earn
You buy Jaggery at about 60% of the list price and keep about 40% margin, rising toward about 50% at 250+ restaurants. You set your own retail price.
After year one
The same margin again, every year your restaurants stay.
Whose brand
Yours. Your own name, logo, web address and login, for as many restaurants as you sign. Jaggery hosts, maintains and supports everything behind the scenes.
For whom
POS and hardware dealers, ex-POS salespeople, and consultants who already look after many restaurants.
To keep it
By invite and a short vetting call. Your deposit and fee are refund-backed; the terms are in the Refund Policy.
Free PartnerA big first-year commission, then a 15% tail. On one Starter restaurant: about ₹10,000 in year one, then about ₹3,000 a year.
Own-Brand PartnerOwn the brand and keep about 40% (toward 50%) for good. On the same Starter restaurant: about ₹8,000 every year, under your own name.
Partner costs nothing. The Own-Brand fee (₹49,999, paid once) is never added to any restaurant’s bill. We pay Partner commission every month, after tax (TDS), against your GST invoice. If Jaggery is not live by 31 January 2027, your fee is fully refunded. All fees exclude GST. No income promise — we show you the maths, not dreams.
Earnings
See the arithmetic before you apply.
Pick Partner or Own-Brand, pick the plan you expect to sell most, and move the slider. We show the maths, not promises.
The rules, in plain words
Partner, year one: you keep 50% of what each Starter or Growth restaurant pays, as Jaggery collects it. Micro earns 15% only.
Partner, after year one:15% every year, for as long as the restaurant stays.
Own-Brand Partner: pay ₹49,999 once, sell unlimited restaurants under your own brand, buy at about 60% of list and keep about 40% every year (toward 50% at 250+ restaurants).
Free vs pay-once: free is a big first year, then 15%. Pay-once is your own brand and the bigger margin for good.
Mr.Owl menu assistant add-on (₹499 / month on Starter) pays 15% recurring, not the 50% first-year share.
Table stands are fulfilled through partners: you help print, deliver and replace them locally.
Fees are one-time, exclude GST, and are never added to a restaurant’s price.
Payouts are monthly, after TDS, against your GST invoice.
Illustration only. Not a forecast, not an offer, no income promise.
Earnings math, honestly

Partner questions
Straight answers for partners.
Do I pay anything to start?
Partner is free: no joining fee, open to everyone. Own-Brand Partner has a flat one-time brand activation fee of ₹49,999, with unlimited restaurants under your own brand. At launch you apply and pay a refundable deposit now, and full per-restaurant billing switches on shortly after. Fees are never added to a restaurant’s price, and all fees exclude GST.
Which one should I pick?
Partner is free: a big first-year commission, then a 15% tail. Own-Brand Partner is pay-once: you own the brand and keep about 40% every year, rising toward 50% at 250+ restaurants. To try it with no risk, start as a Partner. If you already look after many restaurants and want your own name on it, ask about Own-Brand.
How much can I earn?
As a Partner you keep half of what each Starter or Growth restaurant pays in year one, then 15% every year they stay. Micro earns 15% each year only. As an Own-Brand Partner you buy at about 60% of the list price and keep about 40% every year (toward 50% at 250+ restaurants), and you set your own retail price. The calculator above shows the maths. There is no income promise.
Do I earn on the AI add-on and on table stands?
The Mr.Owl menu assistant add-on (₹499 / month on Starter) pays Partners the recurring 15%, not the 50% first-year share, because it is an upgrade rather than a new restaurant. Table stands are fulfilled through partners: you print, deliver and replace them locally for the restaurants you bring. How kit margin and invoicing work is set out in your partner agreement. Free kits on annual plans are a Jaggery cost and are never added to the restaurant’s price.
How and when do I get paid?
Partner commission accrues on what restaurants actually pay, and is paid monthly after TDS, against your GST invoice. You can see every line in your partner console. Own-Brand Partners buy licences at the wholesale price and bill their own restaurants.
What does the ₹49,999 Own-Brand fee cover?
It is a flat, one-time brand activation fee. It is the same for everyone and does not depend on your city or state. It covers your own brand, logo, web address and login, and you can sign unlimited restaurants under it. You then buy Jaggery at about 60% of list for each restaurant. At launch you apply and pay a refundable deposit now, and full per-restaurant billing switches on shortly after. The fine print is written in your partner agreement.
What if Jaggery is not live on time?
You get a full refund of your partner fee if Jaggery is not live by 31 January 2027.
Can I bring my own team?
Own-Brand Partners run their own business under their own name, so they can bring their own sales team and pay them from their own margin. Partners sell on their own under the Jaggery name. Either way, Jaggery never adds a fee to a restaurant’s price.
Can I sell under my own brand?
Yes, as an Own-Brand Partner. It is by application only, with a short vetting call. You sell under your own name at your own price, buy at about 60% of the list price and keep about 40% (toward 50% at 250+ restaurants), for as many restaurants as you like, and we run and maintain everything behind the scenes.
Where is the partner agreement?
It is being finalised with our legal team and will be published before launch. Applying is not a commitment, and no payment is taken at the application stage.
Apply
Tell us about your network.
Partner is open to everyone. Own-Brand Partner is by application, because running your own brand needs a real fit on both sides.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how [Company legal name] ("Jaggery", "the Company", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, stores and protects personal data in connection with the Jaggery — Restaurant OS platform, our websites, applications, APIs, and related services (together, the "Services").
We are an India-first software-as-a-service provider for restaurants and hospitality businesses. This policy is designed to align with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and applicable Indian law, as and when their provisions and rules come into force.
By using the Services, you acknowledge this policy. Where the DPDP Act requires your consent, we obtain it separately and specifically as described below; this policy by itself is a notice, not a request for consent.
2. The two roles we play (important)
Our platform is multi-tenant, and our role under the DPDP Act depends on whose data is involved:
(a) Where we are the Data Fiduciary. For personal data of our own account holders and prospects — for example, the restaurant's signup/admin contact, staff user logins, billing and tax contacts, partners/resellers, and website visitors — the Company decides the purpose and means of processing and acts as the Data Fiduciary.
(b) Where we are the Data Processor. When a restaurant (our customer) uploads, enters or generates personal data about its own diners, guests, employees or contacts while using the Services (for example, customer phone numbers for billing or WhatsApp marketing, loyalty records, order history), the restaurant is the Data Fiduciary and determines the purpose and means; we process that data only on the restaurant's documented instructions and on its behalf, as its Data Processor. In that case, the restaurant is responsible for having a lawful basis and valid consent for that data, for issuing its own privacy notices to its diners, and for responding to its diners' rights requests. We will assist the restaurant with such requests as set out in our customer agreement. If you are a diner and have a request about your data held by a restaurant, please contact that restaurant directly; we will support them.
3. Personal data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
Identity and contact data: name, business name, designation, email, phone/WhatsApp number, postal/billing address.
Account and authentication data: username, hashed passwords, access roles, login logs, device and session identifiers.
Transaction and billing data: plan selected, invoices, GSTIN, tax identifiers, payment status, payout/bank details for partners. We do not store full card numbers or UPI credentials; payments are handled by our payment processor (see section 8).
Usage and technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, feature usage, timestamps, cookies and similar technologies, and diagnostic/crash logs.
Customer-generated content: menus, outlet details, orders, KOTs, reports, and any personal data the customer chooses to enter about its own diners/staff (processed under section 2(b)).
Communications: messages, support tickets, call/chat records, and feedback you send us.
We practise data minimisation: we collect only what is reasonably necessary for the purposes below.
4. Why we process personal data (purposes)
We process personal data to:
create, operate, secure and maintain your account and the Services;
provide billing, invoicing, GST compliance, payment processing and partner payouts;
provide onboarding, support, and service communications (including transactional WhatsApp/SMS/email);
improve, troubleshoot and develop the Services, including analytics and aggregated/statistical insights;
prevent, detect and investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents and violations of our Terms;
comply with legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations; and
with your consent where required, send marketing and promotional communications.
Lawful basis. We rely on your consent where the DPDP Act requires it, and otherwise on legitimate uses permitted by law (for example, where you have voluntarily provided data for a specified purpose, for compliance with law, or for certain employment-related purposes). You may withdraw consent at any time (see section 11); withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out and may prevent us from providing some or all of the Services.
5. Marketing and messaging consent (WhatsApp / SMS / email)
We send service/transactional messages (e.g. billing, onboarding, security alerts) as part of providing the Services. We send promotional messages only where you have opted in or where otherwise permitted by law and applicable telecom regulations. You can opt out of promotional messages at any time via the unsubscribe mechanism in the message or by contacting us. Where a restaurant uses our tools to message its own diners, the restaurant is responsible for obtaining the necessary consents from those diners and for complying with applicable messaging and telecom rules; the restaurant indemnifies the Company for its failure to do so, as set out in the customer agreement.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the Services and, with your consent where required, analytics and preference cookies to understand usage and improve the Services. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.
7. AI features — data note
The Services include AI-assisted features (for example, the in-app assistant and the AI Menu Assistant, a diner-facing suggestive-selling feature). Our design intent for diner-facing AI suggestions is to operate on in-session cart and menu logic and to avoid storing diner personal data for that feature. Where AI features process data:
outputs are assistive and probabilistic, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and must not be relied on as professional, legal, tax, financial or medical advice;
we do not sell personal data, and we do not use identifiable customer-generated personal data to train third-party public AI models;
we may use aggregated and de-identified data to improve our features; and
any third-party AI/LLM providers we use are engaged as sub-processors under appropriate contractual safeguards (see section 8).
8. Sharing and sub-processors
We do not sell personal data. We share personal data only:
with sub-processors who provide infrastructure and operational services on our behalf under written agreements requiring confidentiality and DPDP-consistent protections — for example cloud hosting and database providers, payment processors (for subscriptions and payouts), communication/messaging providers (WhatsApp Business/SMS/email), analytics and error-logging providers, and any AI/LLM providers used by our features;
with a restaurant customer (where you are its diner/staff and we are processing on its behalf);
with professional advisers, auditors, tax and legal authorities where required for compliance;
to enforce our Terms, protect our rights, safety and property, and prevent fraud; and
in a merger, acquisition, financing or reorganisation, subject to this policy.
A current list of principal sub-processor categories is available on request from our Grievance Officer. We require each sub-processor to protect personal data to a standard consistent with this policy and the DPDP Act.
9. Cross-border transfers
We primarily store and process personal data in India. Some sub-processors may process data outside India. Where that happens, we do so in accordance with the DPDP Act and any restrictions notified by the Central Government, and we require appropriate contractual safeguards. By using the Services you acknowledge such transfers where lawfully permitted.
10. Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes in this policy or as required by law (for example, tax and accounting records are typically retained for the periods prescribed under Indian law). When data is no longer needed, we delete, anonymise or de-identify it. Where we act as a Data Processor for a restaurant's diner data, retention and deletion follow the customer agreement and the restaurant's instructions. On account closure, we will delete or return customer-generated data as described in our Terms, subject to legal retention requirements and reasonable backup cycles.
11. Your rights as a Data Principal
Subject to the DPDP Act and verification of your identity, you may:
access a summary of the personal data we process about you and the processing activities;
correct, complete or update inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
erase personal data that is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was processed, subject to legal retention;
withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity; and
grieve — raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer (section 13), and thereafter approach the Data Protection Board of India as provided by law.
To exercise these rights, contact our Grievance Officer (section 13). We will respond within the timelines required by applicable law. We may decline or limit requests where permitted by law (for example, where retention is legally required, where a request is manifestly unfounded, excessive or repetitive, or where fulfilling it would adversely affect the rights of others). Data export: you may request a machine-readable export of personal data you have provided, where technically feasible and required by law. If you are a diner/staff member of a restaurant, direct such requests to that restaurant (section 2(b)); we will assist it.
12. Security
We maintain reasonable technical and organisational security safeguards appropriate to the risk, which may include encryption in transit, access controls and role-based permissions, PII masking where appropriate, audit logging, and periodic review. (Our security controls are implemented and reviewed with our security function.) No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security; you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for configuring access within your account appropriately. In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify affected persons and the Data Protection Board of India to the extent and in the manner required by the DPDP Act.
13. Grievance Officer and contact
For questions, requests or complaints about your personal data, contact:
Grievance Officer (Data Protection), Jaggery — Restaurant OS
Email: grievance@[company-domain]
Support: support@[company-domain]
Registered office:[Registered office address — to be inserted before launch]
We identify our Grievance Officer by role so that your request always reaches the responsible function regardless of staffing changes. We will acknowledge and respond to grievances within the timelines required by applicable law. If you are not satisfied, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India as provided under the DPDP Act.
14. Children
The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children except as permitted by law. Where the DPDP Act requires verifiable parental/guardian consent for a child's data, we rely on our customers to obtain it where they process such data using the Services.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "last updated" date and, where required by law or where changes are material, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acknowledgement of the updated policy.

1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between [Company legal name] ("Jaggery", "the Company", "we", "us") and the person or entity that registers for, accesses or uses the Services ("Customer", "you"). By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Services, you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If you accept on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Partner/reseller relationships are governed by a separate written Partner Agreement; these Terms govern use of the Services themselves.
2. The Services; subscriptions and plans
We provide Jaggery — Restaurant OS, a subscription-based restaurant/hospitality management platform, on the plans, tiers and add-ons published on our website or set out in an order ("Plan"). Subscriptions are offered on monthly or annual (prepaid) terms, and may include optional add-ons (such as the AI Menu Assistant) and one-time items (such as branded table-stand kits or hardware), each at the prices stated at purchase.
Fees are stated exclusive of taxes. Goods and Services Tax (GST) and any other applicable taxes will be added at the applicable rate. You are responsible for all taxes other than taxes on our net income.
Billing and renewal. Monthly Plans bill each month; annual Plans are prepaid for the term. Unless cancelled in accordance with these Terms and our Refund & Cancellation Policy, Plans renew automatically at the then-current standard rate for the same term, and you authorise us (and our payment processor) to charge the applicable fees on renewal. We will endeavour to notify you before an annual renewal.
Price changes. We may change prices; changes apply from your next renewal term, not mid-term for prepaid annual Plans.
Promotional/Founding terms. Introductory, Founding or promotional pricing applies only for the stated window and subject to its stated conditions; renewals are at the applicable standard rate unless stated otherwise.
Add-ons and one-time items are charged as stated and, except as set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, are generally non-refundable once delivered or activated.
3. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. You are responsible for all activity under your account, for maintaining the confidentiality of credentials, and for your users' compliance with these Terms. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We may require identity/business verification and may refuse, suspend or reclaim accounts to prevent fraud or abuse.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to permit any user or third party to:
use the Services unlawfully, or to store, transmit or process unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene or harmful content;
upload personal data without a lawful basis/consent, or use the messaging tools to send communications without required consents or in breach of telecom/anti-spam rules;
infringe any intellectual property, privacy or other rights of any person;
reverse engineer, decompile, copy, scrape, resell, sub-license, white-label, or create derivative works from the Services except as expressly permitted in writing;
probe, scan, circumvent or breach security or authentication measures, introduce malware, or interfere with or overload the Services;
exceed usage limits of your Plan, share logins beyond permitted seats, or use the Services to build a competing product; or
misrepresent your identity or use the Services for fraudulent, misleading or deceptive purposes.
We may investigate suspected violations and cooperate with authorities. Violation of this section is a material breach.
5. Customer data and responsibilities
"Customer Data" means data you or your users submit to the Services, including personal data of your diners/staff. As between you and us, you own and are responsible for your Customer Data and for having all necessary rights, consents and lawful bases to collect and process it. With respect to personal data of your diners/staff, you are the Data Fiduciary and we act as your Data Processor on your documented instructions, as described in our Privacy Policy. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, transmit, display and use Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Services and as permitted by the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy, quality and legality of your Customer Data and for backing up data you cannot afford to lose; we are not responsible for your own configuration choices.
6. Intellectual property — ownership stays with the Company
The Services, software, platform, source code, user interfaces, designs, "Jaggery", "Mr.Owl", logos, brand elements, and all related intellectual property are and remain the exclusive property of the Company and its licensors. We grant you only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sub-licensable, revocable right to access and use the Services during your subscription, strictly for your internal business use and subject to these Terms. No other rights are granted. You acquire no ownership in the Services or our IP. Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us freely, without obligation or compensation, and you assign to us any rights in such feedback. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
You retain ownership of your Customer Data and of your own trademarks and content; nothing here transfers your IP to us beyond the licence in section 5.
7. Third-party services and integrations
The Services may interoperate with third-party services (e.g. payment processors, food-ordering/aggregator platforms, messaging providers, hardware). Those are provided by third parties under their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability, performance, acts or omissions. Your use of a third-party service is at your own risk and subject to that third party's terms.
8. Service availability and support
We aim to provide the Services with reasonable care and skill and to make them available on a commercially reasonable basis. Except where we offer a specific written service-level commitment for a Plan, the Services are provided without any uptime guarantee. We may perform scheduled and emergency maintenance and may modify, update or discontinue features. Support is provided at the level stated for your Plan.
9. Disclaimers — no warranty beyond what the law requires
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". We disclaim all warranties, conditions and representations not expressly stated in these Terms, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that the Services will meet your requirements, that defects will be corrected, or that outputs (including AI-generated suggestions, analytics, and tax/GST calculations or formats) are accurate or complete; such outputs are tools to assist you and do not constitute professional, legal, tax, accounting or financial advice, and you remain responsible for verifying them and for your own compliance. Nothing in these Terms excludes any right or warranty that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law, including rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 where they apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
(a) No indirect/consequential loss. Neither party is liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business, anticipated savings, or loss or corruption of data, however arising, even if advised of the possibility.
(b) Liability cap. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Services and these Terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute or otherwise, shall not exceed the total fees actually paid by you to the Company for the Services in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
(c) Carve-outs. The exclusions and cap in (a) and (b) do not apply to liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, to your payment obligations, to your indemnity obligations under section 11, or to a party's liability for fraud.
(d) Allocation of risk. You acknowledge that the fees reflect this allocation of risk and that these limitations are a fundamental basis of the bargain.
Some jurisdictions and consumer protections may not allow certain limitations; where a limitation is held unenforceable, it applies to the maximum extent permitted and the remainder stays in force.
11. Indemnity (in the Company's favour)
You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its affiliates, and their directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any third-party claims, demands, proceedings, losses, damages, liabilities, fines, penalties, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your Customer Data or your use of the Services; (b) your breach of these Terms, the Privacy Policy or applicable law (including DPDP, consumer, tax, IP and messaging/telecom laws); (c) your failure to obtain required consents from your diners/staff; (d) your infringement or misappropriation of any third-party rights; or (e) disputes between you and your own customers, diners or staff. We will notify you of the claim, allow you to control the defence (with our right to participate with our own counsel), and reasonably cooperate; you may not settle in a way that imposes obligations or admissions on us without our consent.
12. Suspension and termination
By you: you may cancel as set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Cancellation stops future renewals; except as that policy provides, prepaid fees are non-refundable.
By us — suspension: we may suspend or restrict the Services, in whole or in part, immediately and without liability, if (i) you fail to pay when due, (ii) we reasonably suspect fraud, security risk, or a material breach of these Terms or law, or (iii) required by law or to protect the Services or other users. We will restore the Services once the cause is resolved where feasible.
By us — termination: we may terminate for material breach not cured within a reasonable period after notice, for repeated breaches, for non-payment, or where continued provision is unlawful or commercially impracticable. We may also decline to renew.
Effect: on termination your right to use the Services ends. You may request export of your Customer Data within thirty (30) days of termination, after which we may delete it, subject to legal retention and backup cycles (see Privacy Policy). Sections that by their nature survive (including IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law and dispute resolution) survive termination.
13. Confidentiality
Each party may receive confidential information of the other. The receiving party will protect it with reasonable care, use it only to perform under these Terms, and not disclose it except to those who need to know and are bound by confidentiality, or where required by law. This does not apply to information that is public, independently developed, or rightfully received from a third party.
14. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or failure (other than payment obligations) caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, outages, failures of telecom/internet/cloud/power, cyber-attacks, government action, strikes, epidemics or pandemics.
15. Governing law, jurisdiction and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Amicable resolution first: the parties will attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute by negotiation.
Arbitration: any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms that is not resolved amicably within thirty (30) days shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, by a sole arbitrator appointed by the Company (or as the parties agree), with the seat and venue at [Governing-law city], India, conducted in English. The arbitral award is final and binding. This clause does not prevent either party from seeking urgent interim or injunctive relief from a court (including to protect IP or confidential information).
Jurisdiction: subject to the arbitration clause, the courts at [Governing-law city], India have exclusive jurisdiction.
Nothing in this section removes any non-waivable statutory remedy available to a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 where it applies.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new "last updated" date and, where changes are material, provide reasonable notice (e.g. by email or in-app). Changes apply prospectively; your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to a material change, your remedy is to stop using and cancel the Services in accordance with the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
17. General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy and any order, are the entire agreement and supersede prior understandings on their subject matter. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect and the provision is modified to the minimum extent necessary. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. There are no third-party beneficiaries. Notices to us: legal@[company-domain], with a copy to [Registered office address — to be inserted before launch].

This policy explains refunds and cancellations for the Jaggery — Restaurant OS Services. It is part of, and subject to, our Terms of Service. All amounts are exclusive of GST unless stated; GST treatment of refunds follows applicable law.
1. 30-day money-back guarantee (new restaurant subscriptions)
If you are a new restaurant customer on a paid subscription Plan, you may request a full refund of your subscription fee within thirty (30) days of your initial paid subscription start date, for any reason, by contacting support. Conditions:
applies to the first paid subscription term only (not renewals, not reactivations, not a repeat of the same offer);
applies to subscription fees, not to separately purchased one-time items or third-party pass-through charges (see sections 5–6);
we may deduct or decline where there is evidence of fraud, abuse, or breach of the Terms; and
on refund, your subscription ends and your access is deactivated.
2. Go-live guarantee
For new customers who complete onboarding steps on time, we offer a go-live guarantee: if, due to a fault attributable to the Company, your outlet is not live and able to bill within seven (7) days of your scheduled onboarding kickoff, you may request a full refund of the subscription fee. This guarantee does not apply where the delay is caused by you or your agents (for example, failure to provide menu/outlet information, hardware or internet issues on your side, or unavailability for onboarding), or by third-party services outside our control.
3. Annual prepaid subscriptions
Annual Plans are prepaid for the full term.
The 30-day money-back guarantee (section 1) and go-live guarantee (section 2) apply to new annual subscriptions as stated.
After the applicable guarantee window, annual prepayments are non-refundable and we do not provide pro-rata refunds for the unused portion of a term, except where a refund is required by applicable law or expressly stated in writing. You may cancel to stop the next renewal; cancellation does not refund the current prepaid term.
To avoid an automatic annual renewal, cancel before the renewal date via your account or by contacting support.
4. Founding offer terms
Founding/introductory pricing (including any Founding window running to 31 January 2027 and any token/pre-order arrangement) is subject to these additional terms:
Founding prices apply only during the stated window, to eligible customers, for the stated term; renewals are at the standard applicable rate unless stated otherwise in writing.
A token/booking amount (e.g. a UPI token to hold a Founding price) holds the offer for the stated period (e.g. 7 days) and is adjusted against the balance if you proceed. If you do not pay the balance within the stated period, the token holds no price beyond that period; token handling (adjustment vs. refund) is as stated at the time of the offer.
Once the Founding subscription is active, the 30-day money-back and go-live guarantees in sections 1–2 apply; thereafter section 3 (annual prepaid) governs.
5. Add-ons, one-time items and hardware
Add-ons (such as the AI Menu Assistant) purchased with a subscription follow the refund treatment of the subscription during the 30-day window; after activation and outside that window they are non-refundable for the paid period, and you may cancel to stop the next renewal.
Branded table-stand kits, hardware and other physical/one-time items are non-refundable once delivered, activated, encoded or used, except for items that are dead-on-arrival, defective or materially not as described, which will be repaired, replaced or refunded in line with your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and applicable law. Report defects within a reasonable period after delivery. Where a kit was provided free with an annual prepaid deal, no cash value attaches to it and it is not separately refundable.
Third-party pass-through charges (e.g. messaging/WhatsApp campaign credits, aggregator or payment-gateway fees) are non-refundable once incurred.
6. Partner / reseller fees
For the paid Own-Brand Partner option (the free Partner option has no fee, so the cooling-off below applies only to the Own-Brand fee):
a 7-day cooling-off period applies from the date of fee payment, during which the fee is refundable provided the onboarding kit/area has not yet been delivered or activated; after 7 days, or once the kit/area is delivered or activated, the fee is non-refundable;
notwithstanding the above, partners receive a full refund of the one-time fee if the Company does not go live by 31 January 2027 (the pre-launch assurance);
prepaid licence bundles purchased by partners are non-refundable and unused licences expire per their stated validity;
commissions are paid on net collected customer value, after the applicable 30-day customer refund window, and are subject to clawback if a customer refunds, charges back or churns within the stated clawback period; and
full partner terms, eligibility, clawback periods and anti-fraud conditions are governed by the separate written Partner Agreement, which prevails over this section for partners.
7. How to request a refund or cancel
Contact support@[company-domain] (or WhatsApp support) from your registered contact, with your account/outlet details and the reason. For cancellations, submit the request before the relevant renewal/cut-off date. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method within a commercially reasonable period (typically within 7–14 business days of approval, subject to your bank/payment provider's timelines). GST adjustments on refunds are handled as required by law.
8. Chargebacks
We stand behind the guarantees in this policy — please contact us first so we can resolve your issue; most concerns are resolved quickly. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us, or in a manner inconsistent with this policy, may be treated as a breach and may result in suspension or termination of the Services and investigation for fraud. We reserve the right to contest chargebacks that are inconsistent with this policy and to provide payment processors with transaction and usage records as evidence. Nothing here limits your genuine statutory rights.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the version in force at the time of your purchase governs that purchase, and updates apply prospectively to new purchases and renewals.
Draft — not final legal advice. To be reviewed by a licensed Indian lawyer before go-live.
